We all know that things can change quickly when it comes to event planning. Sometimes you might need to change or edit the name of an event during setup. That's why we're bringing the ability to rename events to Grip, making it easier to adapt to those changes.
We added two new fields to the event setup page: “Display name” which is shown to organisers and participants, and “System name” which is a unique system identifier for the technical bits. Now you can change “Display name” freely, and as many times as you want, without disrupting the event setup.
Flexibility: This update allows you to change your event’s name easily any time you want and even include special characters such as !,or #.
Responsiveness: Now you can stay more agile and responsive to changes that may arise during the planning process
Consistency: This update allows you to re-use previous event names, which is perfect if you’re organising an event that repeats annually.
This feature will be available in the admin dashboard from Tuesday 28th February. Available on web.
