We’ve enhanced Native Integrations to support mapping multiple source fields into a single destination field in Grip. This applies to both multi-choice Custom Fields and special metadata fields like Exhibitor ID that allow multiple values.
Previously, combining values from more than one source field into a multi-select field often led to formatting issues. With this update, those values are now cleanly merged, not just concatenated—making the data accurate, consistent, and easier to use.
This seemingly small improvement unlocks major flexibility for event organizers using complex registration systems. You can now confidently combine values across systems—ideal for setups with layered or conditional registration logic.
It also means Parent/Child custom fields are now fully supported within Native Integrations, using multiple mapped fields and the Replace function. This significantly expands the types of field structures that can be integrated smoothly into Grip.
Cleaner, more accurate data from multiple sources
No more manual fixes for broken field formatting
Support for complex custom field logic, like Parent/Child structures
Wider compatibility with external registration platforms
This update removes a key blocker for many events, making it easier to build powerful, flexible integrations with the confidence that your data will display correctly—every time.
Now live and ready to power your next event. Read more about it, and new product updates in Grip's public roadmap. 🚀
