Improvements & New Features: Participants 👯

1. Profiles On Lists - Design Updates

We've improved the design on profiles on lists. Participant summaries will be previewed on the card and  will only be able to expand cards with long summary texts with a clearer icon for people to understand.

Available To: All users, 14th July
Release Type: Automatic
Built by: Charlie

2. Intro message functionality on recommendations and native lists

Intro messages from other users will now be displayed on the 'Recommended For You' page and native lists.

Available To: All users, standard, 14th July
Release Type: Standard, automatic
Built by: Charlie

3. Availability calendar

A new format of availability management will be introduced in web-networking, teams, and the dashboard

Why? We stepped away from the calendar layout to make availability management easier to use and resolve issues related to cross-timezone events

Available To: All Users, standard, 14th July
Release Type: Standard
Built by: Stephen

Improvements & New Features: Organisers 💼

1. New Analytics section for meetings

This is a new section of the dashboard that allows a user to do deeper analysis of their meeting data.

Why? This allows users to take an in-depth look at their meeting data and gives users the ability to let them download the specific data they want

Available To: All users, 14th July
Release Type: Automatic
Built by: Stephen

2. Moving create Type to Special Actions

Types are going to be created at app level in order to remove duplication of Types being created. We have not built the ability to do this yet, but need to remove the Type Settings page, so this will temporarily sit on this page.

Available To: All users, 26th July
Release Type: Automatic
Built by: Guy

3. Add Join & Join_and_patch to CSV uploads

This allows us to define how a user uploads profiles using the CSV uploader. They can choose whether to add replace all data or simply add a profile to the event. Users were filling in large spreadsheets with all metadata using 'join', so all of the created data was not being used

Available To: All users, 26th July
Release Type: Automatic
Built by: Guy

Improvements & New Features : Data 🔢

This will allow greater clarity of when participants entered and left the session during the live stream and also after the live stream if is any recording URL added after the live stream finish time. There was no way of distinguishing the different days that participants entered and left the session page.

Improvements & New Features : Mobile 📱

1. Event-scoped notifications screen

This initiative is about limiting the scope of the Notifications screen to a single event rather than displaying a list of notifications for an entire app. This change aims to eliminate several usability issues:Mobile users could see all their past or outdated notifications (e.g. from an event that they attended a year ago or from an event that was deactivated) and organisers were unable to hide these notifications from usersMobile users had no way of knowing which notification belongs to which event when looking at the notifications screen.

Available to: Everyone
Release type: All new app builds from 20th July; existing apps updated gradually or on request
Built by: Olatara & Fabio
