A New Widget Customization page in our Dashboard
This new new dashboard page dedicated to managing Widgets will make it easier for event organizers to configure, customize their appearance, and embed specific pages as widgets into their content sites.
Here’s what you can expect:
1. Single Navigation Item Embedding
Organizers will be able to embed a single navigation item as a widget, such as an event agenda, without the sidebar. This streamlined option provides a cleaner look that can be easily integrated into any content site.
2. Full Event Widget
For those who want a more comprehensive solution, the full event widget option includes a sidebar for navigating multiple widgets. Organizers can customize the order of displayed items and embed multiple navigation items in one place.
3. Enhanced Customization
The new I-Frame solution will support various embeddable items, including:
- Event Agenda
- Pre-filtered Event Agenda
- Native Lists (List or Grid style)
- FloorPlan
- URL
Additionally, organizers will have the ability to show or hide CTA buttons within the widgets, offering further customization. To align with their branding, organizers can also opt to remove the Grip branding and logo, though this will be a paid add-on.
Benefits that will make you love this feature:
Our goal is to ensure that the features available on the Web Networking app are also fully supported in the new Widgets. This means everything you can do on the Web Networking app, you should be able to do with these embeddable widgets as well.
With our advanced branding options and simplified configuration, you can now seamlessly integrate Grip elements—such as agendas, lists, and maps—into your websites. This new solution will help you enhance user engagement and drive conversions with ease.
Looking Forward
While our focus is on improving the I-Frame experience, which will be available soon within Grip, we recognize that tracking and conversion insights are also critical for organizers. Though a CDP SDK is not within the scope of this update, it’s an initiative we’re actively exploring for future development.
Widgets will be available for your events from May 12th.
Stay tuned for more updates, follow our Public Roadmap as we continue to enhance the Grip platform to better serve your needs.
